Sinopse:
A paisagem urbana é a impressão digital de uma cidade. As diferentes camadas de património edificado de uma cidade como a do Porto desvendam a cronologia de uma história que foi sendo escrita e rescrita ao longo de cerca de 900 anos.
Durante a evolução da maioria dos povoados, do mundo ocidental, a igreja representa o pilar e o ponto de união de uma comunidade.
O património arquitectónico religioso evolui ao mesmo tempo que a cidade cresce e carrega consigo a identidade de cada uma das épocas.
Qual a história que conta um edifício além do granito e do betão? Se a paisagem urbana é a impressão digital de uma cidade as pessoas são o seu coração.

FOR WHOM DO THE BELLS TOLL?
Synopsis:
The urban landscape corresponds to the fingerprint of a city. The different layers of built heritage of a city, such as Porto, unveil the chronology of a long history that has been written and rewritten over 900 years. During the evolution of most settlements, in the Western world, the church represents the pillar and central meeting point of a community.
Religious architectural heritage evolves as the city grows, and carries with it the identity of each of the different historical epochs.
What history does a building contain, in addition to granite and concrete? If the urban landscape is the fingerprint of a city – people stand at its heart.
